My name is Guilhem, I am a passionate biologist and naturalist. After graduating my masters in Ecology I started working abroad as animal behaviour researcher and nature conservationist in some remote areas where the wilderness was quite astonishing, especially in primary forests, something we are not used to see anymore in European countries. I thought this was worth being shared through pictures of the biodiversity, landscapes and people that were parts of my daily life. That is how I started photography and it quickly became a passion and the best way to capture and share nature's beauty as I see it on the moment.

This website gathers some images of the life I encountered while working in the deep jungles of central Africa, Brasil or Indonesia. In Namibia and South Africa's deserts. And also less far, in my home country in France along the Mediterranean coast of Languedoc, up in the Alps or the Pyrenees, through the beautiful forests of Cévennes, across the Aubrac plateau...

Observing nature, the interactions between species and its incredible complexity, the social behaviour, understanding how the different ecosystems function, learning biodiversity's sounds and looking for the tiny hidden details that can hide anywhere in any biotope... This is what I love to do the most, and that also includes taking images of all this.

All animals showed on images here are wild, observed in their natural habitat (except a few in Europe section, wolves and feral animals), species are shown as I saw them and I always try to disturb them as less as possible. 

Genuineness and respect are two very important aspects of my photography and life in general.
